Terms & Conditions

This is a summary of our conditions of hire, which you will need to agree and sign as part of the bookings process.

• You are responsible for clearing and cleaning the premises after your event. All furniture must be returned to where you found it.
• The maximum number of attendees is 100.
• Decorations must be non-flammable and fixed only by the support line around the top of the walls.
• A bar may be set up, but only in the room next to the kitchen
• Music must cease by 11.30 p.m. and the hall must be cleaned, cleared and locked by 12.00 a.m.
• No parking on the private road at the side of the hall. One vehicle only may park at the back entrance. All other vehicles should use the main car park.
• To sell alcohol you need to apply for the appropriate Temporary Event Notice (TEN) from Sevenoaks Council and must provide a copy of the application to the bookings secretary one month prior.
• Smoking within the premises is strictly prohibited.
• All rubbish must be bagged and a maximum of 5 bags only left in the bin outside at the back of the hall.
• Before leaving the hall you should shut and lock all windows and doors, put lights off and put the hall key through the letterbox in the kitchen.
• A Refundable Security Deposit (see rates below) is required as security against any damage or serious breach of conditions. This is returned (cheques can be destroyed) after the function.
